The MOON Coin Show
Sponsoring a Coin Collecting Merit Badge Class
The MOON Coin Show is coming up the weekend of October 12th. They are sponsoring a Coin Collecting Merit Badge Class and I've been asked to organize and teach it. I'm excited to invite you, your Troop or any Scouters you may know that might be interested in attending.
The show and class are at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Drive, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430. The class is on Saturday, October 13th. Check in is from 8:30-9:00am and the class starts at 9am. We will be done Approximately 1:30pm
If you intend to complete this in one day, you'll need to complete requirements 6-9 before hand. There are some coins you'll need to collect in order to complete the class.You must bring them to get credit for having them.
The show starts on Friday and runs through Sunday. You will have an opportunity during this session to visit the show. Please bring money if you need coins to complete your requirements. You will leave with a 2018 Kennedy Half dollar so keep that in mind while working on your requirements.
I have individual Merit Badge Books and "Coin Collecting Merit Badge Coin Folders" also for each attendee.
Registration Is Required
When registering I need:
1. Each scouts name and Troop #
2. An emergency contact and phone # for each scout for the day of the class.
Registration is limited.
Bring your own worksheets and pencil the day of the class. (complete as much as you can.) www.meritbadge.com
If all goes as planned you should be able to complete this Merit Badge that day.
